Each summer, most classroom computers are disconnected when they are removed from the room for summer cleaning. When the computers are returned to the rooms, often times the network cables are not reconnected to the correct network ports. If you cannot logon to your computer and instead get an error "Navigation Cancelled", your computer is not correctly connected to the network.
Our staff works through each building prior to the end of August to confirm each classroom has been completely setup and is working properly. There is no need to submit a Service Request for this problem.
If you are inclined to troubleshoot this yourself, you can try moving your network cable ("Ethernet cable" or "patch cable") to the top-left jack if you have several network connections on the wall. This will correct the problem in the majority of these situations. You'll need to restart the computer or click the "home" button to refresh the screen once you move the cable before trying to login.
